TourDash, the new interactive tool for enhancing Google Street View tours, provides engaging solutions for a wide range of uses. TourDash provides a solution for eCommerce websites, tourism, training, news, booking hotel rooms, reserving tables in restaurants, and more.
Training is one area that has my attention this week. Colleges and Universities are constantly looking for ways to improve off-site, asynchronous safety, compliance, and emergency response training. TourDash holds amazing opportunity in this area. Imagine taking a copy of the Google Street View tours of the buildings and overlaying training videos and quizzies on specific rooms, labs, storage, hallways, lobbies, doorways, stairs, or whatever the need may be. Or perhaps it is simply topic based more than facility based so you select a lecture hall to in the tour to overlay the training module.
I've built a mashup to show you my early design on these thoughts. without question this will continue to develop. Will this be the next big thing in workforce and response training? Perhaps... we shall see.
